Twin-screw ground-lifting scow "Labor", with a cargo hold in the middle part of the hull. Vessel class KM Ice1 R3-RSN AUT3 Hopper.

GS «Labor» — head in a series of 4 vessels of this project, ordered by FSUE «Rosmorport ». The vessels are designed to work as part of dredgers to transport the soil extracted by dredgers to the places of unloading. Unloading is carried out through the bottom doors. The vessels of this project have a hull built on a modular principle, as well as a container-type main power plant (SEU).

The modular principle of building the hull of the vessel allows:

  • have a simplified shape of the hull contours (reducing construction costs);
  • to insert an additional compartment (hold) with a volume of up to 300 m3 (significant cost savings when making changes to the project).

The propulsive complex of scows consists of 2 container-type diesel units installed on the deck in the aft part of the vessel and working on lifting (collapsing) screw-steering columns with fixed-pitch screws. This arrangement allows you to reduce costs during the operation of the GEU, repair (replacement) of mechanisms, as well as to inspect and repair the SRC without putting the vessel into dock.
