Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant handed over to the customer the azimuthal tug of the ASD 3413 Ice Arc5 project "Pomor" (construction number 410)

After the successful completion of sea trials and the ship's transfer to Arkhangelsk, the azimuth tug of the ASD 3413 Ice Arc5 "Pomor" project (construction number 410) was handed over to the customer. During the tests, the Commission checked the working condition of the equipment, as well as the main operational characteristics, the functioning of automation, navigation and communication facilities. The tug showed full readiness for work and good characteristics. A project was developed to ferry the vessel to the home port, including the construction of a pontoon designed to pass through the inland waters of the unified deep-water system of Russia, as well as towing the train to Belomorsk. From Belomorsk to Arkhangelsk, the tugboat passed under its own power.

The azimuth tug was built by order of FSUE "Rosmorport" for the Arkhangelsk branch. The solemn ceremony of launching the tugboat, the keel of which was laid at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant on May 15, 2020, took place on May 14, 2021.

A vessel with a reinforced hull, ice reinforcements and fenders has good towing characteristics and maneuverability and is designed for sea towing of vessels, floating objects and structures on clean water and in ice conditions. Basic dimensions of the vessel:

  • the longest length is 33.7 m,
  • width 12.69 m,
  • the largest draft at full displacement is determined by the results of the development of the technical project, but no more than 5.7 m,
  • crew of at least 8 people,
  • special staff of at least 2 people,
  • the draft on the hook is not less than 45 tons,
  • speed at a maximum draft of 12 knots.
