On July 7, at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant, a meeting of the interdepartmental working group for the coordination of work and control over the implementation of the investment project for the deep modernization of the enterprise, as well as a ceremony for pouring concrete into a bored pile at the base of the main object of modernization - the block of hull workshops of JSC OSSZ.
The meeting and ceremony were attended by Vladimir Pospelov, a member of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, Zakhari Dzhioev, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport, Yuri Savchenko, Deputy Head of the Department of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Oleg Ermolaev, Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Republic of Karelia, representatives of the designer of JSC Center for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Technology and General contractor of PPK "Military Construction Company", Director of JSC "OSSZ" Vladimir Maizus, as well as representatives of federal, republican and municipal organizations and departments.
The project is being implemented with significant support from the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport, FSUE "Rosmorport", as well as from the Head of the Republic of Karelia, state authorities of the Republic of Karelia and local governments of Petrozavodsk city district.
